Cindy Rios is a Clinical Intern currently pursuing her Master of Advanced Studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She brings a compassionate, client-centered presence to her work and is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. Cindy has experience working with diverse clients and is developing her clinical skills through supervised training in community-based settings.
Her therapeutic approach integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT). Cindy values a collaborative process that honors each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, and personal strengths. She is passionate about helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; build meaningful relationships; and develop practical strategies for growth and resilience.
Cindy believes in meeting clients where they are and working together to set goals that reflect their unique needs and values. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and provides counseling services under the supervision of a licensed clinician to ensure high-quality, ethical care as she continues to expand her knowledge and clinical expertise.
